As
Assistant Principal at Tuttle Middle School, Stuart Weiss is
responsible for teacher evaluations, student management,
planning assemblies, organizing and maintaining enrichment
programs, supervising the cafeteria during lunch time,
working with the various after school programs, and helping
to make our school a safe place to learn. He is married and
has two grown children. He has lived in Burlington since
1977 and in Vermont since 1972. He went to high school in
Sharon, MA.
Mr.
Weiss was the Middle School Principal at Mount Abraham Union
High School in Bristol, before coming to Tuttle. Prior to
that he taught Social Studies and Language Arts at the
Edmunds Middle School in Burlington. Before becoming a
teacher, he was a machinist. Mr. Weiss spends his spare
time with his family; he loves to read, sail, scuba dive,
listen to music and spend time with friends.
