More info:

Our volunteers come from the community at large, often through the United Way Volunteer Center and RSVP, the FHTMS parent community,  South Burlington High School through that school's Center for Career Development, UVM and other area colleges.

Our students are 6th, 7th and 8th graders. They come to Enterprise during the school day in lieu of a music or world language class or study time.  Our data shows that they have, on average, doubled their learning rate as measured by standardized tests in reading and math by participating in Enterprise. They also focus on homework and study strategies while working in Enterprise.

Our staff is here to facilitate the work of our volunteers.  We set our volunteers up with students, give volunteers the necessary information about the students and what needs to be done, and provide resources, materials and encouragement to the volunteer and the students.
