Technology teacher, Jay Hoffman and Music teacher, Karola Martin teamed up to create The South Burlington Network News. SBNN was started by a grant of nearly $40,000 from the South Burlington Community Education Fund. We used that money to buy cameras, cables, editing machines, 45 TVs (one for each room in the building). RETN, channel 16 news, helped by training our crew with the equipment that we have. 14 students in high academic standing were chosen to become part of the cast and crew for the 2002 - 03 school year. We aired our first show Jan. 9th 2003.
