Scope and Sequence

French students are assessed in speaking,  listening comprehension, reading and writing in 8th grade and French 3. The students get feedback on their mastery level, specific areas of strength and areas that need remediation.

The World Language teachers meet often during the school year and usually work for a week during the summer to review our curriculum and keep refining our learning expectations, standards and assessments.
We work closely with our world language colleagues to coordinate the transition between schools.
