Description: Small group of students who compete in a regional spelling competition and have the opportunity to advance to the state competition

Begins: Late September
Ends: Mid November
Meets: Average four times per week and as needed before the competition.

Requirements: Top six spellers from grades 5-6 and 7-8 form 2 teams

Process for Participation: Try outs in late September

Commitment: Attend practices and independent work.
