Hopefully, you've found this work to be more exciting and challenging.  French is not just something to be found on a worksheet. It is the way that people in 39 Francophone countries communicate their hopes, their dreams, and do business.

I hope the reactions you read from the French people who wrote about 9/11 helped you realize how much we have in common.

21st Century skills include cultural literacy and global awareness. The world is now "wired" and all citizens must know, understand and appreciate cultural information.

So I hope that you learned a lot about French culture and that you'll take the time to go back and explore some of the other resources that will help make you a culturally literate global citizen. I hope you enjoyed creating your restaurant and sampling French cuisine.
