Disaster,
Suspense, and Thrill
If you're looking for a well-written fantasy book that takes your breath away, Madeline L'Engle is an author for you. In this Book Review, A Wind in the Door is a high-rater for me. The characters are dramatic in a serious way, and the plot is disastrous in a way so that you can't put the book down.
Throughout the story, Meg, the main character, and her friends struggle to save her little brother, Charles Wallace. And to stop the Ecthros, evil multiples of people, from helping to demolish Charles. The Ecthros make the plot even more disastrous through suspense and thrilling moments. Madeline L'Engle takes you right into the scene whether it's sad, happy, or scary. Some of them include being named (you'll learn about that if you choose to read the story), and death, in a few ways, but not in general. Meg almost demolishes herself by naming somebody wrong!
So again, if you would like to select a wonderful book and want someone's opinion, here's mine: I rate this book an 8/9 out of 10. That means it's better than okay. But what about you? Read the book to find out.
