The Jungle Book - an Extravagant Classic Endures Readers for all Ages
Review by Dan
Mowgli, an abandoned child, is voted into the wolf pack by Baloo, a brown bear and Bagheera, a black panther. He learns the law of the jungle and how to survive as a wild animal. Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book brings out the exciting, colorful life of a young boy named Mowgli.
The pack's rivals are Shere Khan, and the treacherous, and riotous monkeys. Shere Kahn is a tiger who stalks the pack. The monkeys are dumb and never do what they set out to do.
Mowgli has to return to the human village once he grows old enough. Tthe story is filled with excitement and mystery.
So finally, this is a tremendous novel. I personally recommend this timeless classic by the fine writer, Rudyard Kipling.
