Meet Alice the Brave

    Have you ever kept a secret for your  whole life and never told a soul, not even your best friend?  I'm sure Alice knows how you feel in the book Alice the Brave, by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor. Phyllis is a very good author and I think the plot of this story is awesome.

    In my opinion, Alice the Brave is a great book.  It's about a girl who is afraid of  swimming in water over her head.  Alice has kept this a secret her whole life and now it is the summer before she is in the eighth grade. She is afraid that her friends will find out that she can't swim and  make fun of her.

    This book is the kind of book that you never want to put down.  You want to keep reading.  Phyllis Reynolds Naylor is a very talented author, you can visualize what's happening in your head while you read.
