Beware of Uncles Who Know Magic

A Book Review by Michael

A book review on The Magician's Nephew By: C.S. Lewis

Have you ever read a book by C.S. Lewis?  If not now is the time to start.  He is the author of a series called The Chronicles of Narnia which is one of the original much beloved  fantasy series.  The first book in the series is The Magician's Nephew.  I think that this book was very enjoyable to read because it spectacularly written and suspenseful.

I think that the book was spectacularly written because of the way that C.S. Lewis described what was happening so well that you could easily imagine it.  For example he developed the characters so that you knew what a character was thinking even if C.S. didn't tell you.  The story was also suspenseful so if you crave suspense, so you'll love this book.  It has witches, time travel chases, and frightening Uncles. C.S. Lewis made the story flow so well that in order to understand the whole series of events you needed and wanted to read the entire chapter and some times more.

You can probably guess that I liked that I liked the book. Also you should be able to tell that I thought the book was enjoyable to read because the story was spectacularly written and suspenseful.
