The  Northers

  The book Puppies Dogs and Blue Northers, by Gary Paulson is a combination of happiness, sadness and excitement. It is about the life of his dog Cookie. I generally enjoyed the book because of the different emotions I get when I read it, and also the way Gary Paulson tells the story.     

    I get different emotions because there are happy parts in the book, sad parts, and exciting parts that made  me  want to turn the page. I like the way he tells the story because it's in first person, and first person narration is the best because  I get more out of the story, and you really get inside the narrators head. In the book, Gary Paulson REALLY tells what he is thinking and what he feels.  

  So the book was good because of the combination of emotions from the book and the first person narration. I would recommend this book to people who like dogs.
