An eclipse is when the moon passes between the earth and the sun, creating complete or partial darkness. This fully describes the atmosphere of this book, Eclipse. Trina should have one of the best summers of her life; but then her world goes into darkness, and everything falls apart. Eclipse is an exciting and moving novel by Kristine L. Franklin, and a great choice for any reader looking for a memorable story. By the end of the book, the reader will feel like they are Trina, the main character in the story.
In this exceptionally wonderful story, a 12-year-old named Trina, her father, and her mother face her father's illness. But Trina's parents had been keeping secrets from her, trying to protect her from the awful truth about the illness. Trina feels that she deserves to know what's going on in her family, and she never knows what is the truth and what's not.
This is great book that everyone should read. It is an exciting, powerful, and moving story, and I strongly recommend it.
