Lyddie is a book about this family that has a farm and a little house and they don’t have a lot of money. The mom moves with the three little kids and the two big kids to these places where girls and boys go to work. When her mom moved one of the three little kids died and they were very sad. At the end one of her sisters came and lived with her in the place she worked in. The little girl’s name is Rachel. One of Lyddie’s friends is going to have a baby so she has to live with out any one knowing.

I would recommend this book to any one that would read this book. Why I would recommend this book to you is because it is a really good book. My favorite part in the book is when her sister comes and lives with her in the place she lives in and works in. You would like this book if you like reading about back in the old times.
