The Wanderer a Must Read for All People Who Love Stories about the Ocean

    This exciting book, The Wanderer, is a must for all sailors or people who love sailing stories .  This Newberry Honor Book is one of Sharon Creech's best books .  I think that this book was good because it is exciting and funny . 

    It is exciting because it is about a orphan girl named Sophie and her adventure on the sea with her uncles Mo, Dock, Stew and there two sons Brian and Cody . Cody is not very bright and his dad does not have very much patience with him . Sophie and Cody get very annoyed with their cousin  Brian who thinks he knows it all .  Brian gives everybody lists and bosses people around .  It is also funny because Sophie and Cody go on a lot of adventure.  I think that this book was funny because sometimes Cody does not know the correct vocabulary for some of the things and calls them , "hole things and line thingy's" That's what I thought was funny about this story.

    I would recommend this book to anybody.  I thought it was great.
