The weather in the Dominican Republic is usually  100oF. It can be sunny, cloudy, or rainy. Most of the time the weather is sunny and hot. It hardly ever rains.

The highest mountain in the Dominican Republic is Pico Duarte (10, 414 ft) The lake is Lake Enriquillo, rivers are Yaque del Nort, Yaqua del Sur, and major cities are Santiago de los Caballeros, La Romana. The capital is Santiago Domingo.

The Dominican Republic is located in the Caribbean with the North Atlantic Ocean to the north and the Caribbean Sea to the south. 

The population in 1992 was about 7,515,000 and now it is about 8,740,000. 16% of white people with European ancestry, 11% of black people descended from slaves, 73% of Mulatto, mixed black and white ancestry.
