Kristen's Book Review

    I recently read My Louisiana Sky by Kimberly Willis Holt.  It is a story about a young girl that loses her grandmother due to a heart attack, and she has  to make one of the biggest decisions of her life; either moving away with her aunt, or staying with her family in her home town. 

She realizes what the best thing to do is and makes the right choice.  I loved this book because I loved the main character and I was very interested in her.  She was clever, and she always stuck by her family, no matter what.  

   What I liked about this book was the main character. Her name is Tiger, and she has a mother who is mentally slow.  She loves her very much, and takes good care of her.  They are a good family.

    I loved this book, I hope to read many others like it.  I highly recommend this book to others.
