Language, Religion, and our type of Government

  • Cuba has a socialist government.  It has a socialist government of workers and peasants, and all other manual and intellectual workers.
  • The major religions of Cuba are Roman Catholicism, and there is also another religion of the Cuban culture, called Palo Monte.  It is also known as the Mayombe cult.   
  • The main languages of Cuba are Spanish, English.  Another language is Russian, but is not very popular.  The people who speak these languages are the Spanish, some people who are a mixed race, and some African Americans.
