Customs, Entertainment, and Holidays
Some customs in this country are the Catholic religion is very important for the majority of the people in Mexico. Also there are many folk dances in Mexico.
There are many holidays celebrated in Mexico, here are just a few:
Christmas, Independence Day, Labor Day, New Year, Constitution Day, Holy Week, Day Of The Dead, and Revolution Day.
During these holidays they have fiestas and dances. They also have a lot of food and parades during these times.
The type of clothing people wear are very similar to the United States, but they also wear sombreros ( a type of hat), chaps (to protect them from cacti), ponchos ( to protect them from the rain), serapes ( colorful blankets that keep them warm), and sometimes they wear a china poblana, ( a type of dress they wear to perform).
