More Pictures of Ecuador

Ibarra is the capital of the province of Imbabura. It is a colonial town with cobbled streets. It is located about 110 km north of Quito.

On the way back to Quito we chose to pass via Tabacundo. It is an exciting drive and the scenery is spectacular. The road follows a deep ravine.

Just a reminder that Cayambe is also situated on the Equator.

Pululagua, an enormous volcanic crater just a few kilometers from the equator, is a short distance from Mitad Del Mundo.

Cuicocha is a dormant crater lake located in the western Cordilleras, 25km west of Otavalo and near Cotacachi.
Guapulo is one of the oldest cities in Ecuador. It is just a short distance from Hotel Quito.
