My Book Review
I recently
read the book Blind Beauty by K.M. Peyton. The main character, Tessa
Blackthorn, gets
through her difficulties with her abusive stepfather by following her dreams and
becoming a jockey. I loved the main character and
really identified with her because she was very courageous.
I also liked her because she didn't let people push her around and she didn't
like them telling her what to do.
I thought that she was very courageous because when she falls
off or loses a horseback riding race she always gets back on or tries again.
After she becomes a jockey
she rides in many different horseback riding races. She rode her own horse in the Grand Nationals
and won.
I liked the book because there was a lot of action. There was adventure and excitement. I would recommend this book to others because it is a great book about how somebody lives up to their dream.
