The Brazilians speak either Spanish or Portuguese.   
The main religion is Catholicism.  85% of the people practice Catholicism.  The other religions are Macumba and Candomblé.  The meaning of these things is that they combine African and Catholicism spiritual beliefs

They have the same kind of government as us.  They have the Executive, Judicial, and the legislative branch.  Also known as the Federative Republic.  The president is the head of the state and government.  There court system is the Supreme Federal Tribunal.  Their armed forces are 291,000 troops.
