Food
It mostly feasts on rabbits and hares.  It also hunts smaller animals such as skunks, porcupines,  small rodents and birds.. In the winter it feast on deer and larger animals. Rabbits and hares make up 2/3 of their diet!  The bobcat  is a carnivore.

Life Cycle
They are usually born in April and May.  Litters can be born just about anytime except during December and January.  Bobcats have a 60 day gestation period. Kittens are born blind and usually weigh 4 to 8 ounces.  They are born in a den area such a rock crevasse, or burrow.    There eyes open after about ten days.  There mother teaches them hunting skills until they are old enough to go on there own.  Which is usually about 9 to 10 months.  Males are fertile after about 1 year.  But females aren't fertile for about two years.  The male and female bobcat only spend a few days together out of the whole year during courtship and mating.

Survival
My animal needs food, water and shelter to survive.  It needs wetlands, a lowland swampy place, and a deer yard where it can catch it's prey.  It needs a den where it can stay when there are predators around and when there is bad weather.
