Bolivia is very engrossed with soccer. Everyone in the country is either a soccer player, or a soccer watcher. For instance, in one village everyone gathered around to watch the world cup and didn't notice that there was a fire until half the village had burdened down! Bolivia also skis. There ski resorts are so high independence up that visiting tourists often have to wear oxygen masks. |

The main holidays that are celebrated are: January 1st is new years day. April 9th is Bolivian national day. May 1st is labor day. July 16th is La Paz day. August 6th is Bolivian day. November 2nd is all souls day. December 25th is Christmas day. |

Bolivians wear many assorted things. For instance, hats are used to identify one village from another. the Indians weave their clothes from the wool of Lamas and Alpacas. brightly colored skirts called Polleras are a traditional dress. Above the Polleras the women wear rough cotton blouses and a shall called an Aguayo. Men have roughly made baggy cotton trousers and Ponchos along with hats called chullos and everyone wears sandals made from the rubber of old tires. |

Bolivians are always egger to celebrate. whatever the occasion it always turns into a festival with music, craft sales, street parades, fireworks, games, feasting , drinking, piņatas, and everyone's favorite- costumes. |
