Kidnapped

Sometimes I wonder how people get into such arguments when they really love each other. My parents have been going at it all this week and I’m starting to get confused, destroyed and really mad.

Three months later…

That night of June fifteenth, it was a Friday I was listening to my parent’s talk when they decided to tell me that they were getting a divorce. “ Hunter, we are getting a divorce.” My first reaction was “Ha, Ha; very funny.” Then my parents told me it was real. I went to my room, and took hold of the door and I felt like I could lift 2,000,000 pounds. I slammed the door, it cracked; I punched a hole in my wall and ripped the sheets on my bed; my room was a mess.

That week I stayed at my real house, now called my mom's house.

We were walking home from the grocery store and that’s when it happened. My mom collapsed from all the stress. She had been crying all night and this time it went too far. I wanted to run back to call an ambulance, but I couldn’t leave my mom there alone in the street; I needed to no if she was still breathing. I put my cold hand on her warm chest, she was still breathing. I could feel and hear the bangs in her chest.   I couldn’t leave her now, I stayed and carried her home; and gave her tea than she became conscious.

The next week I was with my father in his new house“ Boy, it was nice.” It had a Jacuzzi and it was three stories.

That night we did a lot together, talking about getting a dog. I’m glad that we talked but dad seemed tired and stressed out.

I have been feeling bad about this lately and I need to get away from it … I’m going to live out side; because it’s been becoming too much. That night when my dad was in bed I snuck out of the house. I left the door unlocked incase I wanted to come back in. I quickly grabbed my clothes and a picture of my parents… Together, I really missed them.

Getting out of the apartment I was like a swift moving ally cat. Since the bars were open all night, I would just sleep there. Little did I know is some of the bad boys of the town had a reserved spot at the big table.

“Frank’s turn to do something to someone,” said one of the leaders. That night the bet was to kidnap someone for 1,000,000 dollars.

I started to run to my dads, and Frank popped out and grabbed me. I grabbed him and struggled to get out but he shoved me and covered my mouth. I tried to do stuff like in the movies but Frank had such a good grip maybe not even a super hero could save me

5 months later

Frank has been feeding me lots of bread and sometimes he gives me a 5-course meal. Man was I thankful for that. That morning Frank gave me a local paper “New York Times” I saw a picture of someone that looked just like Frank. The caption said that he is a murder. I got worried and tried to kick down the wood wall… no use. It seamed to be reinforced by steel; of coarse it was a sewer.  I fell asleep as I was trying hard to break down the wall. In the morning as I opened my eyes I saw a man and as I open them wider I saw Frank, but all he said was, “Times up kid.” So he let me out and I was leaving and he said, “ I like you kid.” And I said “I like you Frank.” I took another five steps and he said “see you in town”. My first response was “ you to” but where would I go I don’t want to go to my dads. As we were walking even more away from each other I had felt we had a very strong bond.

The next Day he was waiting for me; He asked if he could be my father. He asked because I had told him that I didn’t know where to go. I was happy we had such a good relationship. I didn’t want to be living outside any longer so I accepted the invitation. “Yes.” So we went to court and Frank was legally changed my father. We lived on a golf coarse most of our life we had a very expensive house, due to the fact Frank won one million dollars. We had a huge TV and we have so much food. This house is unbelievable it has every thing. My dad stops by every once in a while, though my mom moved to Texas but she still sends me lots of letters.

2 years later

I am so happy my real parents got back together and I have a big choice to make. I could move back with my real parents. Or stay with Frank.

I decided to go back to my real parents but he heard really good news. It is that Frank is moving to the house next to us and Frank and I can have all the sleepovers we want. The next good thing is that my parent’s just had a new baby named Jackson and Frank just got married. This is a pretty good life and it would have been different if I had not have met Frank. It would be a different story if Frank hadn’t kidnapped me in the first place. The best part of it is that my mom just got a new job that helps young children find homes. Only if she was there earlier.
