| Area 214, 970 square km 82,980 square miles (about the
size of Idaho). Guyana is made up of 4 regions, the costal zone where most
of the population lives is very vulnerable to floods and is protected by
complicated system of storm walls. The 2nd region is the the inland
highlands. The third region is the rain forest region and the fourth is
the savanna region.
Location Guyana is bordered by Venezuela, Suriname and Brazil and the Atlantic Ocean |
