I just read The Girls Get Even by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor.  This story is about the three Malloy sister's ( Beth , Caroline ,and Eddie ) and the four Hadford brother's ( Wally, Peter ,Josh and Jake ). The Hadford brothers think that if they make the Malloy sisters so miserable that they will move back to Ohio and their best friends the Bensons will move back because the Malloy's are renting the house from the  Bensons .

I really enjoyed this book because it was very funny and adventurous  and I like how the author went from the two main characters ( Wally and Caroline ) minds in each chapter and how both familes think that their kids are friends and how they get in a lot of trouble .                                    

I would recommend this book to kids of all ages and to teachers . I would also recommend the series to this book and other books by this author. I would also recommend this book  if you like books about April fools day because the book has the kids always playing tricks on each other .
