Steven's Book Review 

    I recently read the book the black cauldron By Alexander Lloyd. The book is about Taran and how he goes on a quest for a cauldron. On the way the plot is very exciting and interesting.

    The plot was exciting because it was about witches and castles. In the story Taran fights some huntsman that kill one of his friends. The plot is exciting because it is fast moving.For example, in the forest they must stop to rest but when they do the huntsmen catch up and attack them. The story still lets you get to know the character well because they use a lot of detail to describe the character's actions.  

    I would recommend this book to kids who like reading books that are always keeping you reading. So if you haven't read a good book in a while pick, this one up.
