The Shrine
In the place where no one can hear you, in space. With its big, black mysterious way of just sitting still. It's so clam and then so active you would think it was alive.
Well I was lost away in my thoughts, I didn't notice Captain Doug gradually sneak by my weary drifting eyes and surprise me with a big, friendly "Hello."
"Hello," I said back while wondering what he wanted. "Well," he snickered as his face looked like he wanted something done." I was wondering," he asked "If you would check a black dot on this computer screen?"
"Sure," I replied knowing it would probably be nothing. "Thanks a lot Logon me boy," he said with his strange way of talking.
I strolled out in the (ship that is smaller then the big ship all so known as the) min-ship, searching for what Captain Doug said was a " big, black dot." As I shifted my view of the area, I noticed a big, Black Hole! When I stared right in to it, it was like a cold, brisk hand had just touched me and in scared to death. After I got a good look at it I tried to turn my min-ship around by pressing buttons and levers, but it was no use. The big, black monster sucked me up like its breakfast and then...there was silence.
As I woke up I didn't know if I was alive or not, and where I was. As my vision came together I could make out a black figure staring at me. "Ahhhh," I screamed, as I felt dumbfounded. "Ahhhh," they mimicked back while questions followed through my mind. "What's going on?" I asked hoping I would get an answer. "We were wondering the same thing," replied the creature. As I looked at them I could barley see their faces because a clock of some kind covered them. "Who are you?" I asked as I staggered back up to my feet.
"We are the Holy Monks and we are praying for are stolen shrine. Lord Victor stole the shrine," they replied with a sad tone in their voice.
"I will get it back for you," I offered guessing it wouldn’t be hard. "You don't even know where to look," they replied as if all hope was lost. "If you will guide, me I will go."
The Holy Monks guided me to a huge maze (witch they said would be the hardest thing I’d ever faced) and if I were to Battle Lord Victor, I would have to go through the maze. This was the time I would have to be brave, to be strong. I just hoped I could do it.
As I strode toward the entrance, I could feel my sweat dripping down my tense face. As I entered the maze, I didn’t know what to expect. My sword and shield were ready for defense. While I was
in the dark, gloomy maze, I watched for traps. When I walked along, I could hear the faint sound of my feet against the cobblestones. It was so quiet it was almost as if nothing was down here. I could barley hear a secret trap open and arrows being flung at me. I quickly dogged most of the arrows and shield the ones I missed.
The next trap I noticed was the fake floor. I could tell this because the design on it was different from all the rest. I tossed a small pebble at it and it crumbled beneath my feet. The last and finale trap is when the walls started t close in on me. I through my sword between the two walls and did a front flip over my sword.
After I had gotten out of the maze, I could see a bright figure stand tall above me. I could tell it was Lord Victor. As we exchanged looks, we then know what was going to happen. Lord Victor toke the first move and charged swiftly at me. I dodged out of is way and threw my shield at a near by statue. The statue crashed on top of him and subtended him long enough for me to grab the shrine. As I did so it was like time froze. It all of a sudden went black.
As the suns soft, bright rays ran across my face, I could here the faint sounds of people. I was home. Though I had gotten home one question still wasn’t answered. Was it all a dream or not. "Why don’t you ask me?" said a voice.
