Odyssey Team
The Odyssey Team is a 6th grade team at Frederick H. Tuttle Middle School. The 2004-2005 school year is our fourth year. The teacher's names are Bob McGowan, who teaches science and math and Bill Wight, who teaches language arts and social studies. The teachers wrote a statement of philosophy which is below.
Students become invested in their learning through active and varied learning opportunities and reflective critical thinking. Students need a secure, safe and supportive environment that encourages them to take risks, develop confidence in their own abilities and grow into life long learners.
