All Because of Her

As I pulled up to my new house I was amazed. My old house in Alaska was tiny but my new house was the biggest house I have ever seen. At last a home where there was civilization, there were kids playing kickball in the front yard next to mine. I felt so refreshed and relaxed. The grass that I was laying on was as green as the new Shelby.

I totally forgot that I was mad about moving. I walked in side and the first thing I saw was the 113 inch projected screen TV. I looked at all the space there was in the house and it felt good to have room to run in the house unlike my house in Alaska. I ran up to my room and jumped on to my new queen sized bed. The pink walls in my room were exactly what I dreamed of. My dresser was a bright green that complimented the walls. When I opened my closet I was sad to see only the coats I wore back in Alaska. I went to my mom and asked if I could go shopping to get some cloths.

My dad even let me drive his new Shelby to the mall. The mall looked so awesome, I looked at all the amazing stores and I didn’t know where to start shopping. I bought a skirt at Old Navy. I went to the food court and got a salad at Mc Donald’s. There was no place to sit so I asked a guy named Adam if I could sit with him; he told me that I could if I wanted to. Adam had light blue eyes and had blonde long hair. We talked for a few minutes and I knew that I liked him. He asked me if I wanted to go to the movies. I replied yes!!!

I went home and told my parents that I was going on a date; they thought it wasn’t a good idea because I just moved here and they didn’t know him. I ran up to my room and slammed my door to make sure my parents knew I was mad. I made a plan that I would sneak out so I could go to the movies with Adam.  I picked out an outfit, a skirt and a pink shirt.

I went down stairs and started watching Lizzy Maguire. I started thinking that maybe my parents made a good decision about me not going to the movies, but then I thought of how well Adam and me bonded. So I decided that I would still go. When he came to pick me up he seemed different he was unsteady. He asked me what movie I wanted to see and I told him I didn’t know what movies were out. So we decided to go see what movies they had at the theater.

We got in to his F-150. When I got in I noticed that here were 2 empty beer bottles is the front seat; and then I knew why he was different. I wasn’t sure if I should still go, but I did!!! We were five minutes away from the movie theater when I saw 2 headlights and then every thing went black. I woke up in the hospital and saw my mom and dad, and asked them what happened.  They whispered I got into a head on car crash and I was paralyzed from the hips down.

I still live an average life, but I have to go everywhere in a wheel chair.  I am deeply grieved because Adam was paralyzed too. He died yesterday and I if hadn’t gone in the car he wouldn’t be dead; I knew that it was my fault.
