Maniac Magee

    I recently read Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli. It is a story about a boy named Jeffrey (Maniac) Magee who runs away from his Aunt and Uncle to find new enemies. In the end he makes mostly every a friend and end up living in his friends house. I really like this book because it has a lot of adventure from the main theme of him running away because you can imagine him getting a lot of trouble!

   I like this book more from the main plot it was about a kid running away from his family into a town divided by race. So if he run away to the black side of the town every body would be staring and causing trouble with him which make it exciting . I like the main character because he is all confused he gets in a lot of trouble and he is very smart .

   I would recommend this book to a 4th grader and up!
