Help! I'm Trapped in Obedience School Again
Book Review by Alyssa Lines
I recently read, Help! I'm Trapped in Obedience School Again by Todd Strasser. It is a story about a boy named Jake who switched bodies with his dog so that his friend could meet a girl. I really liked this book because you can see what it was like to be a dog from the author's point of view.
The character I liked was Jake. The reason I liked Jake was because he switched lives with a dog just for his friend Andy. I thought it was really nice of him to do that. He had to act like a dog so his friend could meet a girl. The girl had a dog so his friend, Andy was afraid to meet the girl alone so he thought that if Jake changed into a dog it would help him to meet the girl. I found some parts of the book disgusting and I didn't like those parts. The characters were putting spit balls in there noses and then shooting them out and the spit ball would hit cars. Besides those parts, the book was good.
This is a great and interesting book. I liked it a lot. I would recommend this book to readers that like funny books, dogs, cliff hangers, and predicting what is going to happen next. If they were interested in those kinds of books they would enjoy this book. It's a great book.
