I recently read Stowaway by Karen
Hesse. This is a story about a boy named Nick Young. Nick's problem was that he
was that he is a stowaway on a boat called the Evenour. The solution to the
problem came at the end when Nick went home to the butcher, and his dad. I really
liked this book in the beginning but the longer I read it page by page it got
very boring.
I like the plot of this story because it has action, adventure, and
suspense. It has action because it takes place in a time that most of the planet
is undiscovered. It has adventure because death is just around the
corner. It has suspense because they almost sank, and died five times.
This is a great book . I would recommend it for 5th,
and 6th
grade.
