Panama's is located in South America. It is also located in Central America. It borders both the North Pacific ocean and the Caribbean sea. It is between Columbia and Costa Rica. Panama covers the Isthmus of Panama, which has an area of 29,762 square miles. The absolute location of Panama is10° North latitude and 80° West longitude. Panama's official language is Spanish. Some Indian groups use their own local language in addition to Spanish. |

85% of Panama's religion are Roman Catholics. Most of the rest of them are Protestants. The Catholic Church is a very important part in Panama. Church services and celebrations are very religious. They also happen to be social events. To celebrate religions, Panamanian's might have a fiesta. The government in Panama is leaded by the president. Panama is divided into nine provinces for the purpose fog a local government. The provinces are divided into municipal. The capital of Panama is Panama City.

| What some Panamanians do for Leisure and Entertainment, is sometimes they have fiestas! Fiestas are a religious celebrations. They involve musical performances, religious rituals, dancing and a feast with wonderful food. Panamanians enjoy listening or watching musical performances. They also enjoy playing a musical instrument. Baseball is a very popular sport in Panama, along with basketball. Panamanians learn about these sports from United States citizens who have moved from the U.S. to Panama. They also enjoy fishing. |

| What Panamanians eat is rice served either plain or mixed with meat and veggies, maize and beans, tortilla's , a thin as a pancake, sancho soup, chicken, yucca, otoe, corn, potatoes, banana's, rice with chicken, sugar cane, beef cattle, chicken and eggs, and beans. For beverages the enjoy milk and coffee. For the woman or girls in Panama, the wear the Pollera. It is a long full dress made of folds of white cotton decorated with delicate with lace. What men wear or boys wear is usually an outfit called the Montuno. It is a costume made of coarse white cotton with loose long sleeved embroidered shirt worn over trousers. For hats, Panamanians wear the Panama hat.. |
