Because of Winn-Dixie

I recently read Because of Winn-Dixie by: Kate Dicamillo.  It is a story about a girl who has trouble in life until she finds a dog, and everything that happens after she gets the dog is all up hill. I really enjoyed this book because of the characters. They were just so different then in any other book I've read before. Winn-Dixie is a very fun character.  He is always there to brighten up peoples day!  I have a personal connection it is that in my family if anything goes wrong we pet our cat and fell much better.

            I think that the different plots in this book are cool. My favorite  plot was the yard of Gloria Dump. I liked it because the author put a lot of detail into the plot which let me make a clear picture of what it would look like.  The party sounded really nice the way they set it up.

This book showed me that some people are less fortunate than us and we should help them and then maybe good things will happen to us. It was a great book and I recommend it to all readers. I hope you enjoy this book.
