How do they learn the skills and do the projects?

      We can model and teach all specific access (network) and execution (programs) skills with direct instruction using handouts or projection.

    What type of learning environment seems most effective for keeping students engaged and maximizing the use of the equipment? What issues drive the decision to go with  groups/individual? Orbitals?

  Create an environment where kids are working on authentic projects with real deadlines. 

  Remember, you do not have to be an expert at the specific program or task to do it. We've found that the mutual learning of the tech creates a really authentic vibe that the kids and adults enjoy. You need to know a little to get everyone going, but the kids are more intuitive than you.
