Greetings from the Odyssey Team. We are preparing daily for our production of Julius Caesar. Some important information is listed below and we ask that you read it carefully so that our production can be a success for all involved.

• The play will be on Wednesday morning, April 17^th, at 8:15 in the cafeteria. All parents and friends are invited to attend.
• The final practice and dress rehearsal will be on Tuesday, April 16^th. Students will stay after school that day; we will provide them with some snacks and then have our final practice. Our "official" dress rehearsal will be at 5:00 PM. It should conclude at 6:15. This is the only time required for the production outside of school time and it is really important that all of the students are present for this rehearsal.
• Students who will wear tunics will bring them home for decorating. They should decorate a border along each side, no wider than two inches. It should be a repeating pattern in black or in dark shades of red, blue, brown or green. This should be back to the school by Wednesday April 10^th . Students should wear a white T-shirt and white or khaki colored shorts underneath their tunic.
• Finally, we are anticipating an audience size of 100 6^th graders plus Odyssey parents for our performance on Wednesday morning. This will provide us with an appropriate audience. Although our preference is to have you attend the Wednesday show, if you are unable to, you are more than welcome to attend the dress rehearsal at 5:00 on Tuesday.

CONFERENCES- On Monday students will bring home a parent-teacher conference form to be completed by parents prior to conferences next week. Please fill it out and bring it with you when you come to your conference. This will help us focus the discussion to assure your child’s success for the remainder of the year.

MONTREAL- Our trip to Montreal is planned for Friday, May 24th. Permission slips and itinerary will go home after spring break. For your planning purposes, we expect to return around 4:00-4:30.

JUNE ACTIVITY DAY- The end of the school year brings the middle school activity day. We are planning on taking the students camping at Button Bay State Park on the evening of June 12^th, returning to school on Thursday morning. Details to follow.
