February 2003
Just prior to the well deserved winter break students
completed several major tasks and took a field trip to the Vermont Audubon
Center.
-
On Thursday, February 20th students presented a production
of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. We hope to have pictures from the
performance on the web site by March 14th. Many thanks to the parents who
helped out with the production, we could not have done it without you.
Students did a wonderful job on the play and saved their best work for the
public performance.
-
Students have completed their Vermont mammal project which
consists of a complete and informative web site. We hope to have these
edited and posted by the end of March, please check back.
-
Their mammal study was supplemented by a winter tracking
trip to the Audubon Center. Students learned about different track patterns
and took to the woods to try out their new knowledge.
-
Parents should look for progress reports which will be sent
home with students on March 7.
-
Please sign up early for conferences on April 9th and 10th.
If you can make a time during the day that will help us accommodate those
who can't.
