Every week, we'll find our way through the budget maze! Today's roadblock? Understanding the tax increase. VT legislation and SB's growing housing market mean significant cuts won't bring it down by that much. Learn about Act 127 and CLA at www.sbschools.net/budgetfy25.

Town Meeting Day is 5 weeks away! Have you registered to vote or requested your ballot? Have you read up on what is in the district's FY25 budget and the factors that contributed? You can do all of that at www.sbschools.net/budgetfy25

Everyone is heading off for vacation, but first it was a busy day at SBSD. At Chamberlin, there was an Alphabet Fashion Show, Orchard held their Winter Sing Along, RMCS students visited their neighbors at Allard Square and City Hall and sang for them, students in Mr. Carlson's science class had a science museum to present their projects on ecosystems and the high school had A Block with popular activity bead jewelry and introduced new activity, Drumline! That wraps up 2023, but we look forward to more busy days in 2024!
